Originally from Germany, I have recently been living in Bangkok, Vienna, Frankfurt, and Singapore. A veterinarian by education, amazing Asia and my lovely family inspired me to take my photography skills to a more professional level. Currently I am taking courses at the Institute of Photography (http://www.institute-of-photography.com), attend workshops, and study various books and internet resources on photography.
My current focus is on fashion and beauty photography as well as fashion-inspired portraits. I also shoot business portraits, family portraits, and pets. In pet photography I can combine my two passions: animals and photography. Especially, I love photographing horses and it often helps to have many years of experience in handling them.
During every photo session I try to get to know my models and to bring out their most beautiful side in the pictures. I like shootings on location, especially outdoors with natural light, and I prefer to tell a story with my pictures. My style is clean, bright, and natural.
Currently, I am using the Canon EOS 6D with a 50 mm 1.4 prime lens, a 105 mm 2.8 macro lens, a 70-200 mm 4.0 L telezoom lens, as well as a 24-70 mm 2.8 lens. As lighting equipment, I use a reflector and a Yongnuo YN560-II speedlite.
